Refund & Cancellation Policy

How CampusKaro subscription payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds work. Only the behavior the product actually implements is described here.

Final business approval pending: refund timeframes and discretionary terms below should be confirmed by the business owner before relying on them in a dispute.

1.How subscription billing works

  • Plans and pricing: subscriptions provide a fixed student capacity (e.g. 100, 200, 300 students) purchased for a billing cycle — monthly, quarterly or annual — at the fixed per-student rate shown during checkout. The amount charged is always the server-confirmed capacity price for your chosen range and cycle.
  • Verification first: a subscription activates only after the payment is verified on the server (payment-gateway verification or webhook confirmation). Checkout success alone does not activate access.
  • Confirmation: after a verified payment, CampusKaro records the order and payment references in billing history and attempts a receipt email to the owner address. Delivery depends on the email provider and a valid address; the billing history remains the in-product record.

2.Renewal and plan changes

  • Renewals stack: renewing extends the current paid period from its existing expiry — time is added, never reset.
  • Plan changes: switching plans mid-period extends from the current expiry under the newly chosen plan and price.
  • No automatic rebilling described here: each period is purchased explicitly through checkout.

3.Cancellation

  • How to cancel: contact info@campuskaro.in to stop future purchases.
  • Access after cancellation: the current paid period remains active until its expiry date; no further periods are purchased.
  • Your data: institute records remain available through the paid period and per the Privacy Policy afterwards.

4.Payment failure

  • Failed or unverified payments do not activate or extend a subscription, and no success confirmation is sent. If your bank shows a debit, check with the bank or gateway for its settlement/reversal status and contact support with the transaction reference if it remains unresolved.
  • Pending payments (e.g. a closed checkout window) are recovered automatically through payment-gateway confirmation where possible; otherwise a fresh checkout is required.
  • Duplicate charges: checkout orders are idempotent — retries and duplicate webhooks cannot activate or bill twice for the same payment.

5.Refund eligibility

  • Unverified or failed payments: these do not grant subscription access. A debit shown by your bank may still be pending provider settlement or reversal; it is not treated as a completed CampusKaro payment until gateway records confirm it.
  • Duplicate or incorrect successful charges: contact support with both transaction references. We will reconcile provider records and confirm the outcome and any available remedy. A refund is not considered issued until the payment provider confirms it.
  • Refund review: eligibility and amount are reviewed against the transaction, subscription usage, applicable law and any provider rules. This policy does not promise an automatic or full refund.
  • Requesting a review: email info@campuskaro.in with the institute name, payment/order reference, date, amount and reason. Do not send card credentials, OTPs or full bank details. Support will acknowledge the case and share the review outcome.

6.Billing disputes

For any billing question — an unfamiliar charge, a plan or period mismatch, or a missing confirmation email — contact info@campuskaro.in with the payment reference. Disputes are handled against server payment records, which are authoritative.
